Hurricane Lee and Results for Week of September 11th

The golf course made it through the winds and rain from hurricane Lee on Saturday, Sept 16th.  The pictures above show some of the high water experienced on the course the day after the storm.  David Perconti and the grounds crew had the course open for play the next morning by 10:00. The course received 4″ of rain over the weekend, so check for cart status as well as course rules prior to playing golf this coming week. Golf Wars will be walking only this Monday.

This coming week we have a few events scheduled. The Maine State Senior Amateur plays this week, Tuesday (NE Harbor GC), and Wednesday (Kebo Valley GC). Saturday, September 23rd we host the Downeast YMCA/ Bo Lewis Golf Tournament.

The day’s are starting to get shorter so get out and play!!!
